Are you a finance enthusiast with a sharp mind for numbers and a proactive attitude? We are seeking a Treasury Assistant for a 6-month temporary contract (replacement mission) within a prominent financial institution located in the European Quarter of Brussels (1040). Reporting directly to the Head of Treasury, you will play a hands-on role in supporting treasury dealers with their daily market and operational activities.

Main Responsibilities

Money Market Operations: Executing bank-to-bank transfers and performing market transactions, specifically deposits.
Foreign Exchange (FX) Market: Processing currency exchange requests for clients, executing hedging operations, and closely monitoring market indicators (key meetings, interest rate forecasts, etc.).
Account & Flow Monitoring: Maintaining constant vigilance over internal account movements, managing incoming emails and requests, and providing prompt support to the Back Office.
Multichannel Communication: Handling multiple communication channels simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or an equivalent field.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience, ideally within the banking or financial sector.
Languages: Business fluency in Italian, French, and English is required (listed by order of importance for daily operations).
IT Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (good level required) and familiarity with Bloomberg.
Soft Skills: You are proactive, dynamic, and possess a positive, social attitude. You are autonomous, excel at managing priorities, and can maintain your calm during intense, deadline-driven situations.

Van € 2.800 tot € 2.900 per maand

Contract Type: Temporary contract starting ASAP for a duration of approximately 6 months (replacement).
Work Schedule: Full-time schedule of 37 hours/week (standard hours: 09:00 - 17:30).
